The 61st Milbank Snow Queen Festival is just around the corner on Saturday, November 9, but the fun starts tonight! The Mystery Snowman Contest starts now and it’s guaranteed to get the (snow)ball rolling.
Clues about a well-known person in the Milbank community will be published here on The Valley Express each day until the Festival. Sort out the clues, uncover their identity, and make your guess.
The first person to correctly name the Mystery Snowman wins a cool $150 in Ol’ Mill Bucks. Submit one guess or one guess every day. See Frosty revealed in person in the MHS theater during the Snow Queen Festival on Saturday.
Mystery Snowman Clues:
1. I attended Northern State University when it was called Northern State College.
2. I was raised in Milbank, graduated from MHS, and still live here, but I have helped a lot of other Bulldogs move.
3. My grandparents, parents, and my wife’s father were all in charge of businesses on Main Street.
4. I have three grown sons, but none of them live in Milbank.
5. I have been an EMT and a basketball referee.
6. I sailed a boat on Big Stone Lake for many years
7. I am only the second owner of a 60-year-old Milbank business.
