Lightfield and Hanson Lead Fight Against Madison
Milbank Area Boys Basketball February 26, 2025 Staff 0

Milbank had secured a four-game winning streak and was looking for more, but they hit a bump in the road, when they met up with Ben Brooks, a 6’ 9” senior from Madison, on Tuesday, February 25, at the Milbank Armory. Brooks proved hard to contain, and he dumped in 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Myles Schneider, a 6’ 3” junior, made 15 points and added six rebounds for Madison.

The Bulldogs of the North seemed to have briefly misplaced their mojo. Milbank trailed by 10 at the half and couldn’t gain any traction. The final score settled at 65-39. Graham Lightfield and Emmett Hanson each put up nine points for Milbank. Sam Rick scored seven. Ryan Keeton made four. Lincoln Holscher and Jack Howard each downed a 3-pointer to give Milbank some spark. Jeter Scoular and Bryan Meyer added a basket apiece.

Lightfield also led Milbank in rebounds. Holscher matched him at five. Howard and Esteban Abrego got four apiece. Hanson, Scoular, and Layten Osowski each grabbed two. Meyer, Keeton, and Braylen Bowsher got one apiece. Rick added three assists and a steal. Lightfield had one assist and one steal. Scoular fleeced Madison twice.
