Auction and Meal to Benefit Four Local Families — Friday, April 11

Your chance to help four local families at one event is coming up this Friday, April 11. The benefit, featuring a free will meal and a silent auction, will be hosted by the Grant County Fraternal Order of the Police Lodge NE 14. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Milbank Elementary School Cafeteria at 507 S. 9th Street and will conclude whenever appropriate.

Proceeds will go to assist: The Griffee Family, who lost their young son, Cade, and their home in a fire. Hector Radilla Ramirez, a freshman at MHS who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Keaton Johnson, also a freshman at MHS, who was diagnosed with Stage 3A Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and Jenna Johnson, a member of the MHS Class of 2021, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-HPV Cervical Cancer.
