

The Black team, made up of players from the 2001-2009 era, won the Sixth Annual MHS Alumni Basketball tournament. Players on the Black team included Jason Bear, Matt Paulson, Lance Frogner, Kevin Hagen, Travis Lester, Jeff Fish, Grant Kuper, Clayton Conroy, Kyle Reedstrom, and Craig Barlund.
According to Logan Diede, organizer of the event and head coach of the Bulldogs, all proceeds from the event go to the Milbank Booster Club that directly impacts the Bulldogs basketball team. The tournament was held at the Milbank Armory on Saturday, April 19. The event has grown to include a men’s tourney and a women’s game.
