The Grant County Child Protection Team sponsored its annual essay contest to raise awareness for National Child Abuse Prevention in April. The contest gives students in third through eighth grades the opportunity to highlight someone they consider a role model. The essay winners attended a presentation and enjoyed lunch at Pizza Ranch in Milbank on April 29.
The Grant County Child Protection Team promotes public awareness, support, and relevant training. They act in an advisory role and encourage the sharing of resources and expertise. The group is supported in part by Grant County Combined Appeal.
