DockDogs to Make a Splash at Farley Fest

Get ready for some high-flying, tail-wagging action! For the first time ever, Farley Fest—hosted by the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC)—will feature DockDogs®, the ultimate canine water sport that’s making waves across North America. Watch the show or register your dog to join the fun and lick the competition.

Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22
See these DockDogs® events on Saturday and Sunday, 11 am -4 pm

• Big Air® – Watch as dogs race down a 36-foot dock and leap into the water to fetch an object. Electronic judging measures the distance of their jumps.

• Extreme Vertical® – Catch this high-jump showdown. Dogs launch upward to grab a bumper suspended in the air. Heights increase until the top dog – the chompion –remains. 

• Speed Retrieve® –  It’s a race against the clock as dogs sprint down the dock, leap into the water, and swim to retrieve an object at the end of the pool.

The competition is open to all. It welcomes dogs of any breed, size, or skill level— seasoned contestants or first-time jumpers! Each team consists of one dog and one handler. Handlers must be at least seven years old to enter the special Youth Handler division designed for ages 7-14.

You can still sign up the day of the event. Arrive one hour before to get registered.

• Speed Retrieve Competition – 1:00 pm
• Big Air Finals – 3:00 pm (Pro, Semi Pro, Contender & Amateur Finals)

Farley Fest is a summer celebration at Lake Farley Park in MIlbank featuring live music, Q-Fest barbecue competition, a 5K/5-mile run, baseball tournament, car show, cornhole tournament, kids’ activities and inflatables, arts and food vendors, a parade, and more. 2025 Farley Fest will be a three-day event for the first time. The Festival will be going on June 20-22. It’s a must-attend event for all ages!
