Bennett Schwenn, a 2022 graduate of MHS and a rising senior at the University of South Dakota, was named to the men’s 2025 Academic All-Summit League Track and Field Team,on Tuesday, June 10. The award recognizes students for their combined academic and athletic success. It is the second time in Schwenn’s collegiate career he has achieved the honor.
Schwenn maintains a 4.0 GPA in pursuit of a degree in pre-business. He added to his list of athletic accomplishments at the 2025 Summit League Championships in Vermillion on May 15, when he placed fourth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump. He is the son of Rick and Miriam Schwenn of Milbank.
