

Layten Osowski and Anna Neugebauer were crowned the 2025 MHS Homecoming King and Queen. Coronation was held at the National Guard Armory tonight, Sunday, September 21. The 2024 Homecoming King Chaxton Goldammer bestowed the honors on Osowski. Osowski crowned his queen. Anna is the daughter of Justin and Pam Neugebauer. Layten is the son of Jason and Jennifer Osowski.

The 2025 Homecoming theme is Bulldogs Hit the Big Screen: A Homecoming Adventure.
The Homecoming Parade begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 26. Parade line-up is on Flynn Drive west of the Milbank High School. The parade route starts at the corner of Flynn Drive and 7th Avenue. It heads west in front of the high school and continues to S. 5th Street, where it turns and goes north. The parade continues on S. 5th Street to E. 5th Avenue, where it turns and goes west. On Main Street, the parade goes north and finishes at the corner of Main Street and E. Railway Avenue by the Milbank Mall and Bat Mobile Wireless. Questions about the parade? On Friday night, the Bulldogs take on the Tanagers of Vermillion in the Homecoming football game. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at A.B. Campbell Stadium.
Bulldogs Fighting Cancer will host the tailgate prior to the game. The event starts at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. Pulled pork sandwiches, chips, bars and cookies, and a drink will be sold for $5.
Homecoming buttons are $2 each. Middle school students can purchase a button Monday through Wednesday, September 22 – 24, from 7:45 a.m. – 8:10 a.m. outside the Milbank Middle School office. High school students can purchase a button from any MHS Student Council member throughout the week while supplies last.
Bulldogs Fighting Cancer will be selling Bulldog Beads. Milbank Middle School and high school students can buy beads by Officer Folk’s office Monday through Wednesday, September 22 – 24, from 7:45 a.m. until 8:10 a.m. Depending on the type of beads, prices range from $2 to $10.
Following the football game on Friday night, the MHS Student Council will host an adventure movie for all high school students. Weather permitting, the movie will be shown at A.B. Campbell Stadium.
