Randy Kasuske, age 61, of Huron, SD, formerly of Twin Brooks, SD, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025.
A private family service will be held at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, SD.
Randy Ray Kasuske was born on October 4, 1963, in Milbank, SD, to Marlin and Dolores “Dolly” (Meyer) Kasuske. He grew up in the Milbank area and attended school in Milbank, graduating from Milbank High School.
Learning the value of hard work and craftsmanship early in life, Randy worked alongside Milo Porter. Under Milo’s mentorship, Randy became a true jack-of-all-trades, mastering various skills that would serve him well throughout his life. Randy also worked with his mother and step-father, Dolly and Don Peterson at their businesses: Peterson Grain and Double D Designs. He proudly built houses in Wyoming with his family, showcasing his exceptional talents in carpentry and plumbing, always capable of fixing almost anything that came his way.
On June 15, 1985, Randy was united in marriage with Denise Folk. The two were married for 40 years and were blessed with two children: Matt and Alyssa.
Randy was an avid outdoorsman, who reveled in the thrill of the hunt and found peace being in nature. His love for hunting was reflected in the impressive collection of trophies he displayed, a testament to his skills and great memories. He enjoyed fishing, appreciating each moment spent on the water during boat rides, and took great pleasure in checking his deer cameras, always looking forward to the next adventure in the great outdoors.
In addition to his love for nature, Randy found comfort in watching hunting shows and reading hunting magazines, often sharing stories and tips with fellow enthusiasts. Most importantly, Randy loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them.
Surviving Randy are his son, Matt (Lacey) Kasuske of Huron, SD; daughter, Alyssa (Melissa) Andretta of Roseville, MN; five grandchildren: Easton Kasuske, Elsie Kasuske, Noah Garbow, Sam Garbow, and Maddie Garbow; his wife of 40 years, Denise Kasuske; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Dolly and Don Peterson; father, Marlin Kasuske; and brother, Mike Kasuske.
