Ten Milbank Middle School band students were selected to participate in the annual Eastern Dakota Junior High Music Festival hosted by Webster on October 14. Patty Baule, retired band director from Webster, was the guest conductor. The culminating concert was held in the Webster Armory. Many parents and friends attended the concert. Milbank Middle School and Milbank High School Band Director Susan Karels accompanied the students to the event.
MMS students:
Seventh Graders: Isabelle Karels (percussion), Stella Pulling (flute), and Tylynn Wellnitz (alto saxophone).
Eighth Graders: Gunnar Anderson (trumpet), Jenna Pederson (flute), Azul Perez Guillen (alto saxophone), Marley Pinkert (trumpet), Keira Untalan (clarinet), Alanna Vogel (bass clarinet), and Matthew Unzen (baritone).
