Angie Christiansen, community relations specialist for Northwestern Energy, was in Millbank on October 30 to present a check for $2000 to Jolene Rick, director of the Grant County Combined Appeal (GCCA). The utility company has been a dedicated donor to Combined Appeal since 1996.
Christiansen said, “NorthWestern Energy is committed to supporting the work GCCA and other organizations do to make our communities better places to live.” NorthWestern Energy has backed up that oath by contributing approximately $2.2 million in 2024 to organizations and causes in the communities they serve and where their employees live, work, and raise their families.
As we enter the winter season, Joe Zagami, Milbank District Supervisor for NorthWestern Energy, reminds customers, “It’s important to keep the area around natural gas meters clear of snow and ice buildup to avoid service interruptions, prevent safety hazards such as leaks, and to ensure emergency access.” Also, remember to regularly check your furnace vents.
