Thanksgiving is the day when there’s always room for one more at the table. The Pump 2.0 in Milbank has taken that sentiment to heart for five years. Bob and Heidi, owners of the Pump 2.0 and their hardworking team, have a place at their table for you or anyone looking for a welcoming spot to go on Feast Day.

Heidi, in her always inviting style, will make sure everyone feels at home and no one leaves hungry. Guests will be treated to a special Thanksgiving meal catered by Dakota Butchers, along with a decadent dessert. Conversation and camaraderie are included. The event will be hosted Thursday, November 27, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at The Pump 2.0 at 205  Main Street in Milbank. Reservations are requested.

Bob and Heidi encourage families and local veterans to join them this Thanksgiving in saluting the men and women who are serving or have served our nation. Bob, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, understands the feeling of being away from home on a holiday.  “I left here to join the Navy, my grandpa left here to join the Navy,  and my four kids all joined the Navy,” Bob explained. “We decided a long time ago to make serving others the foundation of our family and our community. Please don’t let anyone spend the holiday alone or without a meal. Pass the word!”

The Pump 2.0 Thanksgiving Feast is free and open to all. Free-will donations will be accepted and in turn given to It Only Takes a Spark in the name of the Second Chances Cancer Walk Team.

If you haven’t reserved your place at the table yet, join the celebration by calling 605-432-6200.

The Pump 2.0 will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, and reopen on Monday, December 1.
