World Snowman Day is celebrated annually on January 18. Milbank doesn’t have much snow these days, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a great snowman! John Trevett brought Frosty to life at the 62nd Annual Snow Queen Festival in November. Frosty made everyone feel warm and fuzzy. We pay homage to him and thank him for a job well done before he melts away.

January 18 was chosen as World Snowman Day to reflect the figure of the snowman. The “8” symbolizes the snowman’s shape, and the “1” stands for his broom.
