Rick and Holscher Named to All-Conference Team

MHS junior Sam Rick and sophomore Lincoln Holscher were named to the 2025-26 All-Northeast South Dakota Conference Basketball Teams. Both were selected as the third-team honorees by the league’s coaches. Jackson Wadsworth of Hamlin was chosen as the NEC Player of the Year.

Rick, a 6-foot guard, averaged 12.9 points and two assists per game for the Bulldogs  He also added four rebounds and a steal. Overall, Rick made 42 percent of his shots from the floor and hit 35 percent from beyond the arc. At the free throw line, he downed nearly 59 percent.

Holscher, a 6-foot-4  guard/forward, consistently contributed 12 points per game along with one assist and six rebounds. He was a 47 percent shooter from the floor, and he made 38 percent of his 3-point shots. At the line, he finished at just over 62 percent.
