Bass and Mathiason Compete in Speedo Sectionals Swim Meet

Thomas Bass and Pierce Mathiason, competed at the 2026 Central Zone Speedo Sectionals Swim Meet from March 12-15 at the Hulbert Aquatic Center in Fargo, North Dakota. Top swimmers from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Montana, Kentucky, Utah, and Wyoming competed. Only the top three swimmers or teams were awarded medals.

Bass and Mathiason, both of Milbank, swim for the Watertown Area Swim Club. They attended the meet along with 13 fellow members of the club and coaches Bri Hermans and Chuck Baechler.
