Wrestlers Battles at Les Tlustos-Brookings

The Milbank wrestling team took part in the Les Tlustos-Brookings Invitational on Saturday, January 30. The Bulldogs placed seventh with 91 points.

Harrisburg won the tournament with 225.5 points. Pierre was second with 210.5, and  Madison took third with 142. Other scores included: Brookings, fourth 132; Dell Rapids, fifth, 125.5; West Central, sixth, 117.5; Sioux Falls Washington, eighth 82; and Yankton, ninth, 81 points.

“This was a good tournament to see where we stand and secure region seeding points,” said head coach Jeremy Tostenson.
Barrett Schneck led the Dawgs with a second-place finish. Toby Schneck placed third, and Jacob Johnson and Kaden Krause each took fourth place. Logan Meyer landed fifth in his weight class, and Jesse Schneck, Nick Trevett, and Landon Novy finished in sixth.
