Cummins and Schwenn Named to All-Conference Basketball Team

Will Cummins, a senior at MHS, and Bennett Schwenn, a junior, were named to the Northeast Conference All-Conference boys basketball team for the 2020-2021 season.  

Schwenn, who was named to the first team, averaged 15.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season. He also earned a field goal percentage of 50.8. Cummins was named to the third team. He wrapped up his senior season with 9.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He earned a field goal percentage of 37.4.

Other first team honorees were: Juron Adams, Tiospa Zina; Gray Imbery, Aberdeen Roncalli; Jaxson Frankenstein, Redfield; and Andrew Kranhold, Sisseton.  Second team members were: Kaleb Marx, Clark-Willow Lake; Dylan Goodhart, Sisseton; Lane Tietz, Groton; Jasiah Redbear, Tiospa Zina; and Jaydon Keller, Webster. Other third team recipients were: Micah Dohrer, Aberdeen Roncalli; Cooper Schiernbeck, Deuel; Nicholai Arbach, Hamlin; and Tyson Stevenson, Hamlin.
