Lady Bulldogs Tennis Team Defeats Spearfish

The MHS girls tennis team traveled to Sioux Falls on Friday, September 10, to take on Spearfish.  Abbey Trapp, head coach for Milbank, said, “It was a fantastic match with a lot of long rallies and a great win for the Lady Bulldogs.

Milbank won the match 6-3. They put up four “W”s in singles and two in doubles.

Singles Hattie Muellenbach defeated Katie Mondloch — 8-2 Alexis Ninneman was defeated by Rebeccah Anglin — 2-8 Hope Karels defeated Lindsey Huch — 8-5 Marion Mischel defeated Ava Iszler — 8-2 Elsie Seffrood was defeated by Ella Iszler —  6-8 Amelia Pederson defeated Laura Frost — 8-2

Doubles Muellenbach/Ninneman were defeated by Mondloch/Anglin — 7-9 Karels/Mischel defeated Huch/A. Iszler — 8-2 Seffrood/Pederson defeated E.Iszler/Frost —  8-6
