Margaret “Peggy” Louise Rademacher was born on January 13, 1954, in Milbank, SD. She was the daughter of Albert and Lucille (Van Hout) Folk. Peggy grew up in Corona, SD, and attended country school through the sixth grade. She attended Milbank Public Schools and graduated high school with the Class of 1972. She was united in marriage with Kevin Rademacher on September 15, 1973. They were blessed with four sons: Daniel, Jeff, Greg, and Adam.

Peggy worked for one year at a nursing home in Milbank where she gave loving care. Her care giving continued as she provided daycare in her home. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Christmas cookies, Chex Mix, and other goodies and loved sharing her treats with family and friends. She loved to host family card parties, playing Hand and Foot, and sharing her delicious food. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved nurturing her vegetable and flower gardens. In the last few years, she made a “fairy garden” and took great delight in tending to it. She was proud of the succulents that she grew. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rosen and was active with the church choir. She was very active with the religious education program and in the formation of reconciliation and first communion for second graders.

Peggy looked forward to her shopping trips to Watertown, SD, which she took her mother and her boys. She loved to shop with her family and in later years was able to “shop online.” Peggy embraced and loved each daughter-in-law that joined the family. She welcomed each one into the family and referred to them as “her girls.”

Peggy is survived by her husband, Kevin Rademacher of Bellingham, MN; four sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel and Jana Rademacher of Watertown, SD; Jeff and Kris Rademacher of Chamberlain, SD; and their children: Breanna, Emma, and Nathaniel; Greg and Becky Rademacher of Trempealeau, WI; and their children: Wyatt, Gavin, and Aubrey; Adam and Kendra Rademacher of Rosen, MN; and their children: Austin, Alix, and Ashton; siblings: Debra (Bill) Nelson of St. Paul, MN; Randy (Marilyn) Folk of Milbank, SD; Sam (Heather) Folk of Milbank, SD; Nick (Sara) Folk of St. Paul, MN; Scott Folk of Milbank, SD; and Denise (Randy) Kasuske of Twin Brooks, SD, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
