Milbank Girls Win Hoops Battle of the Bulldogs
Milbank Area Girls Basketball February 20, 2025 Staff 0

The girls basketball Battle of the Bulldogs wasn’t much of a battle this year. In fact, it was more of a massacre. Milbank annihilated Madison 60-20 on Tuesday, February 18 in Milbank. Madison didn’t make a single basket in the entire fourth quarter and their season record now stands at 1-17. Losing is always part of the game, of course, and many teams lose consistently throughout a season, but to experience a drought of such epic proportions gives new meaning to the term Great Depression. Players who return to the court despite 40 and 50-point defeats every week deserve applause for their determination and perseverance.
