Lady Bulldogs Hit Four-Game Winning Streak

The Lady Bulldogs basketball team left Dell Rapids on Saturday, January 18, with a 64-45 victory and a four-game winning streak. Isabella Anderson scored 19 points. Belle Pauli added a double-double to Milbank’s collection this season with her 12 points and 12 rebounds. Tyra Berry produced 11 points. Claire Snaza made six. Siera Wenzl and Avery Schuneman each posted five points. Anna Neugebauer scored four. Josie Riveland added two. Anderson also recorded five assists.

After Pauli’s dozen, Neugebauer had five boards, and Berry, Snaza, and Riveland each added four. Wenzl and Anderson got two apiece. Rylee Scoular and Schuneman each grabbed one. Berry pulled off six steals. Wenzl, Snaza, Riveland, Anderson, and Neugebauer snagged two steals apiece.

The Lady Bulldogs averaged nearly 42 percent from the floor. They made nearly 36 percent from beyond the arc. Milbank downed nine of their 16 attempts from the charity stripe to finish at 56 percent.

Elin Schoenhard led the Lady Quarriers scoring. She made nine points. Rorie Thoreson followed with eight. Mya Destigter had seven. Jersi Schultz and Taylor Schmidt each scored six points. Schultz also made a block and got away with three steals.
