Clark S. Haliburton, age 69, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Prairie Lakes Hospital. Memorial Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Carlene Rhody will officiate. The family encourages attendees to dress casual or in Twins gear for the service.
Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Burial will be at St. Pauli Lutheran Church Cemetery in Clinton MN, at a later date. Honorary Urnbearers will be Clark’s five brothers; Denny, Garry, Tim, Richard, and Robert Haliburton, and his brother-in-law Keith Anderson.
Clark was born on February 8, 1956, in Milbank, SD, to Leonard and Jeanette (Moldenhauer) Haliburton. He graduated from Milbank High School in ’74. He worked at his father’s auto body shop, Len’s Tune Up, and at local grocery stores, Beren’s Warehouse and Bill’s Super Valu.
On April 4, 1981, Clark married Dori Anderson in Clinton, MN. After they were married, they moved to Winner, SD, where Clark managed Beren’s Warehouse. While in Winner, Clark and Dori welcomed Steve and Ember into their lives. They then moved to Dell Rapids where the couple owned C&D Food Market. Eventually, they moved to Watertown where Clark worked for the State of SD for 25 years for the Department of Public Safety. During this time, Karla came along to complete their family of five.
Clark is reunited in peace with his father, aunts, uncles, and couins.
Clark is survived by his wife, Dori, of 44 years, of Watertown; one son, Steve Haliburton of Watertown; two daughters, Ember and Karla Haliburton of Watertown; one granddaughter, Jessa Armstrong; mother, Jeanette Haliburton (Moldenhauer); five brothers, Denny (Cindy) Haliburton of Aberdeen; Garry (Judy) Haliburton of Harrisburg; Tim (Kim) Haliburton of Seoul, South Korea; Richard (Renee) Haliburton of Cottage Grove, MN; Robert (Teresa) Haliburton of Cottage Grove, MN; Jerry (Sharon) Moldenhauer of Tucson, AZ; LaVerna Moldenhauer of Milbank; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation can be made to the Watertown Fire and Rescue Department, American Diabetes Association, or Glacial Lakes Humane Society.
