Winnie Stattelman, Landon Ward, Colton Folk, and Gareth Rausch marked perfect attendance during the 2025 Summer Reading program at the Big Stone City Branch Library. Fern and Leif Johnson, and Colsen Folk were named the Top Readers.
Summer Reading concluded on July 16 with prizes and root beer floats provided by the Big Stone Horizons Committee. This summer, 31 kids registered and 26 regularly took part in the seven- week program each Wednesday. The kids read books and completed activities to earn Book Bucks. On the last day, they redeemed their Book Bucks at the Library Toy Store.
The Big Stone Branch Library is located at 400 Washington Street on the south side of the Big Stone City Community Center. Library hours are Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
