Members of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, August 27, at the Abbey of the Hills near Marvin. The ribbon cutting was a celebration of the opening of the Abbey’s new gift shop. The shop was made possible by a generous donation from the Tim and Patty Czmowski family. Patty cut the ribbon and Tim briefly addressed the business and community members who gathered in support.
The gift shop, relocated to the lower floor, was refreshed with new fixtures and floor coverings and stocked with many new items. Guests were offered tours and refreshments. Door prizes were given away.
The event was part of Business After Hours, a program also sponsored by MACC.
