Ho-ho-hoping to get a sweet picture of your littles with Santa? Be in downtown Milbank Saturday night, December 6. Santa will be arriving at First Interstate Bank at 6:30 p.m. just after Miss Milbank 2026 lights up the tree at the Valley Queen Music Park at 6 p.m. But, that’s not the only fun festivities on Saturday. The entire day is filled with more goodies than your stocking on Christmas morning.

HOMETOWN CHRISTMAS  – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 and BEYOND
Pancake Breakfast: 8-10 a.m. at Milbank Elementary School. Proceeds benefit Emanuel Lutheran Youth Group.

Craft & Vendor Fair: 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Milbank Elementary School
Almost 40 vendors registered. Free admission!

Business Open Houses: – From open until 3 p.m.
Downtown stores will offer specials and unique gift ideas.

Festival of Trees: 11a.m.-1p.m. at the Grant County Courthouse

Lego Contest and  Bake Sale: 1 p.m. at the  4-H Complex Ages 4-adult. Pre-registration for competition was required 

Free Movie: 3:30 p.m. at the Mill Theatre
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (PG), Free small pop and popcorn/person. Free admission! Doors open at 2:45 p.m. First come, first served.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Caroling: 6 p.m. at the Valley Queen Music Park. 

Olivia Foell, Snow Queen – Miss Milbank 2026, assisted by Little Miss Milbank Leighlah Shepherd, will do the honors of lighting the tree. Join the holiday carolers to ring in the season.

Pictures with Santa and 2026 Miss Milbank: 6:30-7:30 p.m. at First Interstate Bank on Main Street in downtown Milbank. Hot Chocolate will be served. Visit and get your photo with Santa and Snow Queen – 2026 Miss Milbank Olivia Foell and Little Miss Milbank Leighlah Shepherd.

Drive Thru Light Display: 5-9 p.m. at  the Grant County 4-H Grounds. This dazzling display will remain open every night from  December  6 – January  1

Christmas Karaoke: starts at 8 p.m. at The Pump 2.0 on Main Street in downtown Milbank.

Cosmic Bowling: Two sessions – 7 p.m. and  9 p.m. at  Top Hat Lanes

Light Up Milbank Business Decorating Contest

Public Voting Online: December 5-31

All Milbank-area businesses are invited to join a friendly competition to help spread some holiday cheer. Decorate your business with your brightest, most festive light display for a chance to receive a free annual Chamber Membership (includes general business base fee–valued at $225). Open to all businesses. Chamber membership is not required.
