The Milbank Area Retired Teachers and Personnel Association (MARTA) will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, May 21. The event begins at 11 a.m. at Pizza Ranch in Milbank.
Chloe Hermans, fifth grader and winner of the local 2026 Grandparent Essay Contest, will read her first-place essay. MHS senior Ryan Keeton will also share his winning Educators Rising project. To commemorate our nation’s 250th anniversary, MARTA members will host a patriotic celebration and wear red, white, or blue. A short business meeting will be conducted. Door prizes will be given away.
Members are reminded that no meeting will take place in June.
