Bulldogs Get Wins at State Tennis

The Milbank Bulldogs varsity tennis team competed in the 2026 South Dakota High School Boys Class A State Tennis Tournament held at Sioux Park in Rapid City on May 18-19. Sioux Falls Christian (600) won their third-straight team title. The Chargers swept all six singles flights and three doubles flights.

Rapid City Christian took second place (382). St. Thomas More collected third (358.5). Huron earned fourth place (261.50). Pierre T. F. Riggs finished fifth (255.5).

In singles action for Milbank, Will Muellenbach took fourth place in Flight 1. Alex Baugh took sixth place in Flight 2. Nolan Grabow earned  a consolation championship in Flight 5. In doubles play for the Bulldogs, Pederson and terDenge took the consolation championship in Flight 3..
