Luann Pittman

Luann (Bogenreif) Pittman, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, in Ortonville, MN.

A gathering to honor and celebrate Luann’s life will be held at the Big Stone Community Center on September 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Those who knew Luann are welcome to join in remembering her vibrant spirit and loving heart.

Luann Christine (Bogenreif) Pittman was born on May 14, 1943, in Graceville, MN, the cherished daughter of LeRoy and Blanche (Yates) Bogenreif. She lived a life marked by her vibrant personality and her love for her family and pups.

Known for her spicy, vibrant personality, Luann brought joy and laughter to those around her. Throughout her 83 years of life, her presence was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. Luann will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Luann is survived by her son, Chad Pittman; her niece, Christine Yordy; her beloved dog, Dax; several grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Leroy and Blanche Bogenreif. Her passing also marks the loss of the final sibling in her family, following her brothers: Ronald, Peter, Michael, and Brian; and her sisters: Janet, Donna, and Bonnie.
