The Lady Bulldogs kept volleyball fans on the edge of their seats, when they hosted Waubay-Summit on Tuesday, September 15. The varsity girls clinched the win at 3-2.  JV earned a solid 2-0 victory. The eighth-grade team also dominated the court in a 3-0 sweep, and the seventh graders defeated the Lady Mustangs 2-1.

The Milbank JV girls won in two sets at 25-15 and 25-16. Paisley Ericcson had a strong night serving. She finished at 21 of 22 with nine aces. Coach Kelli Pillatzki commented, “ We did good work serving and trying to speed up our tempo.”

The eighth-grade Lady Bulldogs  dismantled Waubay-Summit 3-0.  Set scores were 25-10, 25-7, and 15-7.

“It was a strong performance for the girls,” said Coach Nancy Hoeke. “They took care of business and were able to get some good things to happen even when they had to scramble.”

The Lady Bulldogs  secured a victory over the Lady Mustangs of Waubay-Summit at 2-1 with set scores of  25-12, 29-27, and 5-15.
