Big Stone Commons and the collection of businesses in the historic former Big Stone School building celebrated their first anniversary on Friday, September 11.
The Great Plains Zoo gave a presentation on exotic animals including tenrecs– a hedgehog from Madagascar – and milk snakes. Tacos were served to many guests, who gave a free will offering in return. Free wellness classes were presented all week to mark the occasion.
