To its owner, the Future Farmers of America (FFA) jacket is a physical reminder of their personal accomplishments achieved through FFA – a symbol of commitment and dedication for all who wear the corduroy.
This fall, five members of the Milbank FFA, along with 413 other members from 86 chapters across South Dakota, will receive their FFA jackets courtesy of an individual sponsor and the South Dakota FFA Foundation. The jackets are a time-honored tradition that welcomes new members into the fabric of FFA.
FFA members were offered the opportunity to fill out an application and answer essay questions about their FFA experience and goals to compete to earn their FFA jacket instead of purchasing one.
Official FFA jackets are restricted to active, constitutional members of the National FFA Organization. Past members cannot order new official keepsake jackets.
