Students at Milbank Middle School competed in a pop tab competition to benefit the Ronald McDonald House – South Dakota. In 2025, 1,285 families stayed at one of the two houses in the state to be near their ill child while the child received medical care.
The first-quarter service project was a challenge to see which homeroom could collect the highest number of ounces of tabs in a two-week period. Mrs. Ash’s seventh-grade homeroom was the winner. They edged out Mrs. Wise’s class in a very tight race.
