Don and Tammy Rieger Win First Lighting Contest

Don and Tammy Rieger’s home at 201 Track Avenue in Milbank is aglow!

Perhaps because it was just selected as the first winner in the annual Christmas House Lighting Contest sponsored by the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce. The couple won $50 in Ol’ Mill Bucks.

Seven homes were nominated in the first week of the contest and remain eligible for a prize. Two winners will be chosen – one on December 14 and one on December 21.

Connie Larson, chamber director, reminds community members to nominate their neighbor for the contest. “Instead of people entering the contest for themselves, nominate your neighbor to win prizes,” she stated.
