Festival of Trees Open House at the Courthouse

This year’s Festival of Trees Open House is Thursday, December 17, from 2-4 p.m. at the Grant County Courthouse.” Sixteen beautifully decorated trees showcase local organizations,” said coordinator Sara Koepke, “plus, the courthouse has trimmed two.” The trees are displayed throughout the courthouse foyers and refreshments will be served on the second floor.

Organizations featured include: Big Stone City American Legion Auxiliary, Teens Against Tabacco Use (TATU), Milbank Girl Scouts, Milbank Lions Club, Milbank VFW Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, Milbank American Legion Auxiliary, Milbank Kiwanis, Kountry Kids 4-H Club, Milbank Toastmasters, Young Explorers 4-H Club, Madison Junior Livestock 4-H Club, Grant County Community Health, Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club, Northern Lights 4-H Club and the Grant County Public Library.

The Grant County 4-H office coordinates the event.

Prior to Christmas, one of the trees will be selected as the winner of the decorating contest.
