The Milbank High School cross country teams earned top places at the Lac Qui Parle Valley Invitational on Tuesday, September 19.
The girls team finished third in the team standings while the boys took sixth place. Danica Schulte sparked the girls team with a seventh place finish. Maurina Street finished in 11th place while Taylor Thue was 18th and Amaya Street 22nd.

On the boys side, Nick Batchelor led the Dawgs with a fourth place individual finish. Luke Wold placed 17th overall, and Alex Farrell was 33rd.

The Bulldogs will compete in the highly competitive Roy Griak Invitational meet at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, September 23. They will then travel to Sisseton for an invitational Thursday, September 28, before heading into post-season competition.
