Girls X- Country Team Wins at Sisseton

The Lady Bulldogs cross country team ran to the top of the team standings at the Sisseton Invitational September 28. They won the meet with 37 points.

Four runners placed in the top 15 of the varsity races. Maurina Street led the way with a fifth place finish. Amaya Street came in at 11th place, and Danica Schulte was hot on her heels at 12th place. Taylor Thue took 14th place.

In the boys division, Milbank took third place in the team standings with 62 points. Nick Batchelor had the team’s highest ranking at second place. Luke Wold took ninth place, and Zippy Bock took 11th place.

Milbank vies for the Northeast Conference title Thursday, October 5, in Webster. The first race begins at 2 p.m.
