Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite on Friday, November 17. The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students present Beauty Lou and the Country Beast.

Beauty Lou and the Country Beast starts at 1:15 and 7:00 pm in the Milbank High School theatre. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and available at the door.

Featured as Beauty Lou is Ashlynn Batchelor (younger) and Aubrey Frasch (older). The Younger Daughters are played by Jacy Dexter, Allie Meyer, Maren Pearson, Kalli Grong, Brynlee Schmieg, and Gemma Street. The Older Daughters are Elyse Reede, Autumn Widlits, Cailey Sime, Ivy Lewno, Lydia Street, and Maddie Tesch.

Imaginary Friend is being played by Ian Liebe. Beast is Jayden Johnson. Dusty and Slim the Helpful Farmhands are Howie Zemlicka and Calvin Weinberg. Faithful Friend Fleabite Clyde the Dog is being played by Nollen Sheeley.

Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck sets off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the country folk. Country Folk are : Reese Schuneman, Avery Schuneman, Macy Mueller, Grace Olson, Emma Tesch, Caroline Pearson, Zayda Townsend, Keaton Johnson, Jack Howard, Abby Pillatzki, Rylee Scoular, Mia Van Lith, Jacynda Street, Megan Wiese, Heyden Montag, Evy Liebe, Lane Johnson, Alex Delarosa, Joe Schulte, Rylynn Schmit, Ashlee VanHoorn, Maryfer Lozano, Jasmine Tietjen, Marnie Van Lith, and Rylen Frerichs. The Barnyard Critters are: Jayden Korstjens, Brinley Brandriet, Susie Schuneman, Kinley VanHoorn, Violet Johnson, Jada Leigh Wellnitz, Kylynn Schwandt, Cali Weber, Macie Van Lith, Raina Untalan, Zadie Frederiksen, Bree Townsend, Max Scoular, Andrew Karels, Adrienne Korth, and Fischer Ruhr. Bridget Korstjens, Katie Kruger, Max Schuelke, and Joseph French are the Assistant Directors.
