It Only Takes a Spark Teams Forming Now for 2019

It Only Takes A Spark is signing up new teams for the cancer walk at Lake Farley Park on June 14, 2019. The group challenges neighbors, families, small businesses, cancer survivors, and youth groups in Grant County to help those afflicted with cancer. Everyone is welcome and registration is free the first year. Plus, when the current teams spoke; the core committee listened! The walk has been revamped with the option of staying all night or leaving at midnight. Teams, however, need at least two representatives present at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning for cleanup.

It Only Takes a Spark raises money throughout the year for cancer patients in Grant County. At least 70 percent of all funds is donated to local patient expenses. Another 20 percent goes also to local patient expenses, a local cancer support group, or towards cancer-related equipment at local health facilities. The final 10 percent is reserved to cover expenses associated with the walk.
