Milbank won a match and lost a match at a high school girls tennis jamboree in Aberdeen on Saturday, September 21. The team was scheduled to play three matches, but weather delays halted play several times.

“MHS Head Tennis Coach Abbey Trapp said, “We did not play our third match against Huron due to all the weather delays. We finally finished our second match at 8:15 p.m., and all the coaches at the tournament decided the teams would not play their third match.”

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Pierre 6-3. Halli Essington, Rhianna Cantine, Hattie Muellenbach, and Rhianna Welberg were winners in their singles matches. The Bulldogs’ No. 1 and No. 3 doubles pairs were also victorious.
