Eli Fischer Takes Third at Madison Wrestling Invitational

Milbank High School senior Eli Fischer captured third place at the Madison Invitational wrestling meet on December 21. Fischer took the victory in the 126-pound weight class.

Milbank finished 15th in the team standings with 41 points. Rapid City Stevens won the event with 201.5 points and ahead of 19 other teams.

Only eight Bulldogs competed due to injuries and illness. The squad hopes to recuperate during the holiday break before they travel to the Floyd Farrand Invitational at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School on Monday, December 30.
