Beverly (Mrs. Alvin) Settje, age 62 of Corona who June 7, 2015, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Beverly Gail (Pluth) Settje was born March 21, 1953, in Dickinson, ND. She was the daughter of John and Alma (Heinle) Pluth. Beverly grew up in Dickinson and graduated from high school. She attended Dickinson State College and Minot State College. She moved to New York for a time before returning to North Dakota. Beverly was united in marriage with Alvin Settje on February 29, 1984, in Bismarck, ND. Following their marriage, they lived in Bismarck for ten years. They moved to Sacramento, CA in 1989. They were blessed with a daughter, Jennifer. They lived in California for 23 years, then retired and moved to Corona.
Beverly had worked as Vice President of Operations for a student loan company. She enjoyed scrap booking. She was an avid photographer and took many pictures of old churches and school buildings. She and Alvin enjoyed fishing together and traveling in their RV. The joy and love of her life was her family, especially her two grandchildren, Luke and Kinley. Time spent with her daughter, Jennifer was truly cherished.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alvin Settje of Corona, SD; one daughter, Jennifer (Ryan) Stelter of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren: Luke and Kinley Stelter; her mother, Alma Pluth of Dickinson, ND; one brother, Jeff (Michelle) Pluth of Rocklin, CA; three sisters: Renee (Doug) Klein of Bemidji, MN; Debra (Pete) Mirabito of Florida; Karen (Jim) Sinness of Ft. Myers, FL.
She was preceded in death by her father.
