The Grant County Fraternal Order of Police, Inter-lakes Community Action, and the Grant County Child Protection Team will sponsor their annual “Christmas With a Cop” to help local children buy presents for their families. Thirty-two children will go shopping at Lewis Family Drug with one of 10-12 local law enforcement officers.
Each child will be given $75 to buy Christmas gifts for their family members and one special person in their life. Volunteers will wrap each gift and the children will take them home to place under the tree to surprise their loved ones on Christmas Day.

“ICAP works with the school counselors to identify those children and families who need a little assistance this Christmas,” said Police Chief Boyd VanVooren. “We are happy to give back and spread cheer.”
