Free Shakes for Food

Thursday, January 7, members of the Grant County Child Protection team will join forces with the Lady Bulldogs at the Milbank Armory. Both teams will help to replenish the Grant County Food Pantry.

“The food pantry tends to get pretty depleted throughout the holiday season,” noted Police Chief Boyd VanVooren. “We would like to help restock it to start the new year.”

Fans are asked to bring three non-perishable food items to the game. As a thank you, those donating items will receive a free chocolate shake. “If you cannot stay for the girls basketball game, please feel free to drop off donations during this time anyway,” said VanVooren. Everyone is encouraged to stick around, though, and watch the Lady Bulldogs take on the Groton Area Tigers.
