4-H Students Coordinate Farm Safety Poster Contest

Hope Karels and Cailey Sime hosted a Farm Safety poster contest in conjunction with the annual Grant County Farm and Home Show. The two members of the Grant County 4-H program coordinated cash prizes sponsored by Schuneman Equipment, Sime Repair and Titan Machinery. The duo said, “Thank you to all who participated.”
Prizes were awarded for participants in grades three through five. Jessel Stengel (Koch School) was the first place winner for third grade while Gemma Street (St. Lawrence School) was second. In the fourth grade division, Cailey Sime (Koch School) was first and Hope Karels (Koch School) was second.
Five places were awarded in the fifth grade division. Nadia Schneck (St. Lawrence) was first; Aiden Ludvigson (St. Lawrence) placed second; Laura Eilers (Koch School) took third; Marianna Fonder (St. Lawrence) finished fourth, and Camryn Wiese (St. Lawrence) placed fifth.
