Jake Anderson Captures Seventh Place At State Wrestling

Milbank Junior Jake Anderson ended his junior wrestling season on a high note. He captured seventh place at the 152 pound weight class with a 7-1 victory over Stoltenburg of Pierre. Anderson had already beaten Stoltenburg during the region tournament.

“Jake had a solid state tournament,” stated Bulldog head coach Jeremy Tostenson. “He wrestled hard and now gets to add his name to the banner. I know by Monday he will set his goal to be higher on the award stand next year. ”

Jake finished the season with a 41-14 record. In his first match Saturday he suffered a 10-0 loss to his Sturgis opponent. He completed his state tournament with a 3-2 record.
