Kiwanis Car On Ice Sunk

The Kiwanis Club of Milbank sponsored its annual Car On Ice fundraiser this winter. Because of the mild temperatures, the car sank early last week and is completely submerged.

Tickets to guess when the car sank were sold through Friday, February 26. “Because of the short timeframe this year, the winner will be drawn from a hat of all the entries,” stated Kiwanis member Kay O’Farrell. “We will not know the exact time and date the car sank until it is recovered from Hurley Pond, and we cannot recover the car until all the ice has melted.”
