Toastmasters Club Meeting

The Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, March 17, in the State Auto cafeteria with Annavel Quintana serving as the Toastmaster. The word of the day was “ineluctable” which means “certain, unavoidable or inevitable.”

Jessica Roggenbuck was the first speaker of the day. She presented Project 3 out of the Competent Communication manual with a speech titled “It’s Contagious.”

Dave Schaack was the second speaker for the day. The title of his speech was “Effective Meetings – Perception or Reality” which was taken out of the specialty series Speeches by Management manual.

Chelsy Baugh was the table topics master. Jonathan Ydstie, Talia Athey and Kim Veen participated in table topics.
