All children up to second-graders are invited to join the fun at an Easter egg hunt sponsored by Milbank Community Pride. The hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 26, at 10 a.m. on the front lawn of Golden Living Center. The hunt is free, but each participant is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Grant County Food Pantry. Those who donate will be eligible to win a door prize. Cookies will be served by Golden Living Center following the hunt.
“Come out and join in the fun,” stated Kathleen Holscher, one of the event organizers. “Please bring a basket or bag to carry home your eggs and prizes.” In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be held in the Milbank High School gymnasium.
Milbank Community Pride is a local non-profit community organization. The group raises funds and invests money back into the community to support causes focusing on children, activities, and education.
