Kim Veen Serves As Toastmaster

The Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, April 7, in the State Auto cafeteria with Kim Veen serving as Toastmaster. The word of the day was “pronk”, which refers to a weak or foolish individual.

Natalie Remund was the speaker of the day. She is a four-year member of Toastmasters and recently earned her Competent Communicator Award. Natalie presented Project 1 out of the Storytelling Advanced Communication Series. Her assignment was to tell a folktale. The title of her speech was “Three Billy Goats Gruff”.

Chelsy Baugh was the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Dave Schaack, Jessica Roggenbuck and Talia Athey.
