West Side Story Pleases Crowd

The Milbank High School production of West Side Story was a huge success, according to MHS choir director Miriam Schwenn. The local talent performed shows before near capacity crowds both nights.

“The audiences were so supportive,” Schwenn said. “The cast did a phenomenal job. It was amazing how they adapted to slight mistakes, scene changes, and microphone issues and just went with the flow. The backstage crew also stayed on top of things and did a great job.” West Side Story was the twelfth musical Mrs. Schwenn has helped direct during her career at MHS.
